These painted floor-to-ceiling bookcases stand 8 feet tall and just over 11 feet wide. The doors open to reveal an additional adjustable shelf behind each set of doors. There is a removable panel in the area below the desk that hides power and computer cables from view. An HVAC vent had to be integrated into the toe-kick as there was no reasonable way to relocate it into the room. The crown moulding along the top of the cabinets was matched to the existing, making it look as though the cabinet was installed when the house was constructed. These details like these can make or break the installation of built-in cabinetry.
